Confidence To Overcome

Sometimes there will be tests of our confidence in Faith but….

GOD is waiting for us to remain the same before the problem, in the midst of the

problem & after the problem.  Remaining this way will demonstrate our confidence.

The Book of Hebrews says in 3:14-“For we are made partakers of Christ, if we

hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.” Remember [Hebrews

13:8] that JESUS was the same yesterday and today and forever.

Let the world know that we will not be defeated and we will not quit. We have

been made overcomers through Him that loves us.

JESUS said “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him I give power over the nations.” [Rev 2:26] Power is The Authority over all things through Christ.

And we thank You Father.  In Your Son, our Savior; JESUS name.

After Thoughts

Waking up this morning all I could think about was love, love, love and more love. I needed that feeling in my soul to keep an understanding of who I am and where I’m going. I know that in those feelings you must keep your thoughts clear to hear GOD (James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of GOD).

Thoughts of spending more time in the word and getting more of an understanding should come first(Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures). The Bible also states: “It cannot be overstressed that knowledge of Jesus Christ is inseparably related to knowledge of the Scriptures”. We have to spend more time if we are searching for the relationship that we need with GOD. A relationship with him carries with it a privilege and responsibility to be the light unto others(1 John 1:5-7 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that GOD is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin). So with that, we must be relentless in pursuing the righteousness of the Lord. Being upright(Proverbs 11:6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but the transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness) and forthcoming. Having integrity and respect over thinking about what someone else thinks of you. Make up your mind. Don’t be ashamed of being who you are and who you will become. Don’t be like everyone else! ( John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.) We have an obligation to be a demonstration that the word of GOD works. Don’t give up! Don’t quit! Don’t lose your joy! Keep praying! Keep confessing! There is a promise attached to the word of God! I know that we not only want it, but we need it. We have to overcome our mind sets. Let’s eliminate the excuses! Stop saying that we’re not perfect and let’s strive to be perfect (Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect).

I recall a Pastor saying; “It is in the overcoming of a thing that you prepare for a promotion”. Well, it’s time for us to make sure we overcome and be prepared for what the Lord has for us. Enlightenment has been given to us with all of his grace and mercy attached, use it. Understand that we must live by faith and in faithfulness (Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of GOD revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The Just Shall Live By Faith).

With that being said…. Lamentations 3:41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto GOD in the heavens.

Lord, We thank you. We thank you for keeping us through all that we’ve done. We thank you for knowing all things. For knowing that one day we would be lead out of the darkness and into your marvelous light. My GOD, My GOD. We praise you for your everlasting grace and your everlasting mercy. Thank you Jesus. Lord, We ask that you push and pull us toward the righteousness and joy that will fulfill our hearts. We ask that you keep our minds set to the promise of perfection. And will be forever mindful to give you all of the honor, all of the praise and all of the glory. In Jesus name. Amen.

After Thoughts

I’m not sure yet to whom it might give peace. But I wanted to share it.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as men count slackness; but is Long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,

but that all Should come to repentance to Peter 3:9 I know that GOD clearly expresses the desire for salvation of all who will  trust in Him.

The true defining & overcoming moment is to understand WHO we really are.

The INTEGRITY of our own hearts will lead us to the promise. What I’m saying is, that we need to stop challenging the past in order to have victory in our future.

He will not let us suffer without a cause. So while we’re dealing with whatever we are dealing with; understand we must remove our hands & let Him that loves us above all things recover what’s lost, missing, stolen etc…He alone will restore.

He alone will  keep the promise. In His Son, our Savior; JESUS name. Amen!

A Message of Love from Enduring Faith Ministry

Good morning Brother’s & Sister’s,

Today is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it(Psa118:24). No matter what life’s lesson will be today, I need you to know that you are loved. The Bible declares “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord”(Psa150:6)

We know that we are not breathing of our own power, but it is thru Him that loves us above all things, that gave us life. Praise His name! Call out to Him! Surrender to His glory. Things wont change overnight but when we believe in Him there will be progress in the process. Lets start by lifting up one another. Lets show our love by proving our love. Speak words of encouragement. Speak words of love. Remember, that “pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul & health to the bones”(Pro16:24)

Heavenly Father
make our words count. help us to build someone up. help us, by Your Spirit, to be more supportive to those around us.help us to be pleasant & kind to another’s ear & let us speak life In JESUS’ name

No future without a past

Isaiah wrote that the Lord declared "Remember ye not the former things, neither
consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring
forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and
rivers in the desert."[Isaiah 43:18-19]

Blocking out the past is unacceptable but coming to terms with it is key. We must
understand the role we've played and accept accountability for the decisions we've
made. Release the past and know that God has ordained that He will make a way
even when we think that there is no-way to be made.

Heavenly Father
we thank You! Today we choose to release any negative energy that surrounds our
past. We humbly ask and pray that You will bring us to an understanding that You
are our future and with You, our future is bright. Lord help us to set free our
mind, heart and spirit from the bondage of poor decision making and uplift us to know
that through Your love, mercy and grace we are saved. we ask these things in Your
Son, our Savior; Jesus' name

Victory Is Yours

My thoughts were on the promise of victory.

John wrote in the 1st Epistle “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”

The assurance of the believer is based on principles. Now, the dictionary has the word “assurance” defined as a promise, a certainty about something & a positive declaration to give confidence. How ironic, that the principles of God’s Word does exactly as the definition explains.

We are promised by our Father, that if we believe, all things are possible.(Matt 19:26)

Some Christians feel that they are saved, while others know they are saved. We must understand that the promise is not based off of “feelings”, but of principles that must be adhered.

Jesus is in our hearts because of these and other principles: we witness the Word, a prayer is answered, the understanding of Scripture, we keep His commandments & we love one another. We must remember that The Apostle Paul wrote “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities….”

I have said before, He that loves us above all things, will not let us fail. So while we talk about victory, we must assume there is a defeat. Unfortunately, because of the play on words, it’s in our vocabulary. If for some odd reason, we “feel” like we’ve failed or have been defeated, then truly, what do we believe in. As believer’s, we already know that the “wicked one” has been and will be defeated. The Bible clearly speaks of defeat when it comes to him, but not in any manner when it comes to our Father. So I ask that we throw away that mentality and replace it with the understanding that we are our Father’s children. Paul wrote “And you hath He quickened(made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins”. Paul was praying that we would recognize what God’s power has done in us and for us. How can we be losers? How can we be defeated? We cant! Not if we believe that the promise of victory from our Father is the principle that we’ll live by.

 With that being said….

Jeremiah wrote in Lamentations: “Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.”

 Heavenly Father,

We Thank You! We know that in order to receive the victory, we must believe in You. We ask that You open our hearts, minds and spirits to Your principles and lead us to Your understanding. We ask that in Your time Lord, give us the victories that You have promised. And we ask these things in Your Son, our Savior, Jesus name.

Matthew 4:4

A Perfect Change

As always, waking this morning with love, peace and joy in my heart, I had my usual drifts of thought.

I remembered a conversation that I had not too long ago with a close friend. At this point, some time had elapsed between us and our relationship, but I still held them dear.

Now, as a reminder this person knew of the “old” me.

I recited to them; (1John 1:5-6 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that GOD is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.) This person immediately became offended and said…”You think you’re better than me. I remember what you used to do and how you used to be!”

So, I gave my all to explain and to be the light.

What was meant by that is that we are not to hide who we are because GOD already knows us (Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…..) The light is being free with peace, love and integrity. Presenting unto the world that you are a demonstration of his will, grace and mercy. Knowing that his forgiveness sets us free (Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.) Everybody has a little “used to” in them. It’s up to us to know that it must be removed, but by our Savior. (Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after GOD is created in righteousness and true holiness.) We must confess our faults and release the negativity. I exclaimed; I’m not better than you, but I’m better than I used to be. And for that reason, I give all glory to GOD. I ended the conversation by allowing this person to know that I love them and I appreciated the time they took in listening. Needless to say, we don’t speak anymore, but I still send them text of the scriptures. I know that I must preach the word as to prevent defection from the truth (2Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.) I know that you cant tell people what they want to hear. They must be told what they need to hear….The Truth. The Light. The Perfect Word of GOD.

Dear GOD

Accept us as we are and know that we need change. Know that it is your word that makes us believe that it is not about starting perfect, but finishing perfect. You are the author and the finisher of all things and for that we will be forever mindful to give you all of the honor, all of the praise and all of the glory. In JESUS name.
